As part of our culture to train and develop staff with necessary knowledge and resources required to perform and deliver at their very best, FleetPartners Leasing Limited conducted a 2-day training program themed “Skill and Behavioural Excellence for Drivers” for on 7th and 8th May 2016 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
The training had all FleetPartners drivers and supervisors (Port Harcourt region) in attendance and was described by attendees as a very resourceful and successful initiative. Participants were issued certificates upon completion of the training program.
Objectives of the Training
The training was aimed at:
- Fulfilling part of the continuous driver education which is part of the contractual expectation between FleetPartners and her client.
- Interaction with the drivers to understand their challenges, some of their needs and how to resolve them
- To update the drivers on new management policies, new technology, new expectations amongst others.
- To emphasise and re-emphasise on traffic rules and new traffic rules for the drivers
Staff at all levels including the drivers require periodic training and retraining to continuously upgrade and update their skills to meet up contemporary times, technology upgrades and management expectation.
